Excerpt from the Welcome address delivered by the LAW-P President:

“Upon assuming office as the second President of the League of Achina Women Professionals (LAWP), the idea of addressing academic decay and digital illiteracy in our schools, especially in rural public schools, was at the forefront of our agenda.

The idea was to purchase Desktops and supply them to various schools for use in teaching pupils and students.

We approached one of our brothers, Nze Emeka Obieli (Otigba), for ideas on how to sponsor the project. That singular meeting changed the trajectory. He suggested that we secure land from our Igwe and build a structure to accommodate all the skill structures we envisage under the same roof. This led us on the second missionary journey to our Royal Father, HRH Igwe G.N. Obiora, Eze Idegwu III, to appeal to him to allot a space to us, which he did.

We conceived this Hub to directly combat unemployment and the allure of delinquency by fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

It is our firm belief that by equipping our people with relevant vocational skills, we are not just changing individual lives; we are building a more resilient, prosperous, and sustainable Achina for generations to come.” Chinwe Ezenwa-Mbah Esq. President LAW-P.
