Achina Scholarship Exam

Achina Scholarship Exam photos powered by George Ezulike Foundation

Achina Scholarship Exam is a brainchild of Everyone Matters Movement (EMM) founded by Hon. Onyekachi George Ezulike. (George Ezulike Foundation).

The Great Achina Scholarship Exam is designed to benefit all underprivileged Achina (Achina in Aguata LGA, Anambra State Nigeria) students who are doing well academically as students.

The first episode of Achina Scholarship Exam was for underprivileged Achina secondary school students from JSSI to JSSIII; irrespective of where they reside.

However, the founder of EMM in his wisdom, confide on Activist Nweke Ifeanyi Green the CEO, Brainpowerplanet.com in 2019, the Coordinator of The Achina Scholarship Exam.

The Achina Scholarship Exam 2020 as coordinated by Nweke Ifeanyi Green was very successful.

In this blog post that captured the details of the Achina Scholarship Exam by George Ezulike Foundation (GEF), you will be able to watch the video of the live Exam on PLANET TV; and the winners live interview.

Digital Photobook of few moments of the Achina Scholarship Exam Program

Before the Achina Scholarship Exam 1st Episode, there was a serious preparation; both on the side of the Coordinator, to the Founder, and the students who were waiting anxiously for the exam date.

Firstly, it will interest you to know that the proper preparation for Achina Scholarship Exam started in 2019; after Nweke Ifeanyi Green was announced the Coordinator of the Exam.

Below are how far the coordinator and the management went before the final results were obtained; and the best students that emerged from the respective classes: “JSSI-JSSIII.”

Is Achina Scholarship Exam Real? Yes!

Are Winners still receiving their scholarship school fees? Yes!

In the early hour, our top preparation from the onset was strictly man by transparent processes, in a manner to offer the entire world a standard for Good Governance, that will give the best a sense of value as a citizen in our society.

This was how we started:

Before the Achina Scholarship Exam anchored, there was a platform movement founded by Hon. Onyekachi George Ezulike named Everyone Matters Movement (EMM).

This movement championed the 1st Episode of the Achina Scholarship Exam fonded by George Ezulike Foundation; setting the pace for academic balance in this part of the world.

The founder of EMM again, confided on Activist Nweke Ifeanyi Green the Editor of Everyone Matters Movement (EMM).

Resuming hard work as the Editor EMM & Coordinator Achina Scholarship Exam, ideas began to form, implementation became easier.

Then first EMM Achina scholarship form was created and sent by George Ezulike Foundation from Lagos State Nigeria in 2019.

Secondly, it will interest you to know that the Achina Scholarship Exam went viral beyond Achina Town.

The Exam was designed, targeting the Achina underprivileged students anywhere they are.

As ideas formed, we took the good message to the targeted students at verious schools around Achina community; even visited major Churches within Achina ( Achina is a town in Aguata LGA, Anambra State Nigeria).

Therefore, Schools and Churches were our primary base for the EMM targeted scholarship students.

We were able to reach some numbers of students in different secondary schools in Achina, and also from our Churches.

Though it wasn’t easy to gather their information, access it, and articulate it for the exam properly. But we crossed that line as a team: “EMM.”

Watch The Exam Preparatory video

The video you are about to watch is the Achina Scholarship Exam preparatory video, that equally presented the vision, and the hope for both the EMM and the targeted underprivileged students.

After the Exam on 1st of February 2020, the most articulate, and tedious, but interesting part of the work was the Exam record handling, and the meticulous presentation; to the students that won and lost, EMM, and entire public.

We have all been working through transparent process and with sincerity mindset.

At the point of producing the results, we had confidence at every point, because we wanted the best to emerge without manipulation.

Confidential information was exchanging hand confidently from the Teachers whom we carefully selected few among them that was passionately following the EMM set processes to obtain green (better) results, to the EMM platform (EMM WhatsApp Group) To and Fro.

Results of the Exam passed through strict hands under a transparent process. Below was that best we found.

But they were wrong with EMM.
  • We delivered as we promised.
  • Now, Meet the first 5 most performed Achina Scholarship Exam Students:

Note: The Subjects all the scholarship students took was English (ENG) & Mathematics (MATHS) 50 questions each, with most of the questions having optional answers to choose from; with respect to their class level curriculum.

And the questions was set by the school teachers of Community Secondary School Achina in the time of Mrs. Ifeme as the school Principal with Mrs. Ezeoke As the vice Principal Academic, who is a native of Achina, and she was also in charge of those that marked the exam sheets and produced the results we present to you.

5. Okpalauba Paul C.: ENG 34, MATHS 31, Total score 65. Day Student of SPSS Achina.

JSS III Best Five of Achina Scholarship Exam are:

Note for record purpose, the overall best student of the Achina Scholarship Exam for JSS III according to the results made available to the EMM was Innocent Onyedika, a student of SPSS Achina.

During EMM home and parents interview, we discovered Innocent Onyedika is not a native of Achina Community, to whom the 1st Episode of the Achina Scholarship Exam was designed for; therefore, Innocent Onyedika was disqualified.

The first position immediately went to the next student in line according to higher score result ranking. And the next was Unamba Christian C., a student of Christ the King College (C. K. C) Onitsha.

During EMM home visit and parent interview, he was short of most important expectations under which the George Ezulike Foundation is offering the scholarship; which includes that the student must be a day student; but Unamba Christian was not a day student. He lives in the school.

Again, the family status as gathered from the EMM findings presented that the family was not in position that present Unamba Christian as “underprivileged” student, which the scholarship foundation targets.

Therefore, Unamba Christian was also disqualified. Before the position again went to the next in position. And the next in position was Nnadozie Chinonye Assumpta. A day student of SPSS Achina.

And after EMM home visit and interview, the First position for JSS III winner of the Achina Scholarship Exam was duly awarded to her. She is a native of Achina.

Now, I present to you the JSS III Best Five of Achina Scholarship Exam:

  1. Nnadozie Chinonye Assumpta: ENG 32, MATHS 25, Total score 57. Day student of SPSS Achina.
  2. Okpala Perpetua C.: ENG 33, MATHS 21, Total score 54. Day student of SPSS Achina.
  3. Ezechukwu Adaeze: ENG 29, MATHS 23, Total score 52. Student of Community Secondary School (CSS) Achina.
  4. Ezema Chioma: ENG 29, MATHS 23, Total score 52. Student of SPSS Achina.
  5. Okpalakunne Chioma: ENG 25, MATHS 27, Total score 52. Student of Community Secondary School Achina.

From the above presentation, you can see we have three (3) students in parallel position with the same cumulative score of 52: (Ezechukwu Adaeze 52, Ezema Chioma 52, Okpalakunne Chioma 52).

However, this was how we decided who came first. If we decide to choose first among the 3 above, by their name, Adaeze Ezechukwu will come first, using first initial alphabet of their name as the judging principle.

But the two next bears Chioma. Therefore, we decided to use first initial alphabet of their surname, to help us choose with guided principle who come before others fairly without hurting anyone positive interest. That was how Ezechukwu Adaeze was captured before, Ezema Chioma, and subsequently Okpalakunne Chioma.

Principals and Teachers like Rev. Father Felix Nwosu ( the then Principal of St. Peter’s Secondary School Achina), Mrs. Ifeme (The Principal of Community Secondary School Achina as of the time of the Exam), Mrs. Ezeoke, the then Vice Principal Academic of Community Secondary School Achina, was ontop, ahead every other Teachers involved, other few Teachers were all helpful during the period.

Some of the Achina Community Secondary School Teachers played important roles during the conduct of the Achina Scholarship Exam.

The School Principal of Community Secondary School Achina as of the time of the Achina Scholarship Exam, was passionately supportive throughout the period of the exam and after: Mrs Ifeme.

Team EMM can not be left behind. There were few serious members of Everyone Matters Movement (EMM) that actually contributed to the success we recorded:
