Achina Unity Town Hall Meeting Hosted by ADA-USA

Achina Unity Town Hall Meeting Hosted by ADA-USA at Eke Achina Field (Community Secondary School Achina) on the 27th of December 2025.

Historically, Achina Town in Aguata LGA, Anambra State, is popularly recognized by both Achina citizens and government as a Town with 3 villages, that is Ebele, Umueleke, and Umuezeiyi: not minding each of the 21 quarters in Achina is actually a size of a village in UNICEF rating; haven mentioned this fact, one of the Achina village, Ebele village, comprising of: Five quarters, that is Umulekwe, Ebei, Okohia, and Loloma, leaving only Abudum that is representing Ebele in Achina, the rest, according to: “Achina Idegwu: The Mirror of Ages, 27th December 2012, by Nweke Ifeanyi Green, page 84-87,” was delighted at the government announcement in early 2002 to create new autonomous communities: and ISI-ACHINA Community was birthed as result of their excitement. Though Okohia later returned to Achina, through the efforts of some notable individuals and youths like Nze Osita Dim etc.

However, because the Anambra State government up to the moment of this post has not responded to the creation of new autonomous communities, the Achina citizens under the umbrella of Achina Development Association USA (ADA-USA) decided and on the 27th of December 2025, launched a unity program at Eke Achina Field tagged: “Unity Town Hall Meeting” to integrate this part of Achina that left Achina back for a One United Achina as has been from time immemorial.

According to Chief Cletus Ezenwa, immediate past President of ADA-USA, who spoke during the occasion said: “this is the 1st edition, it is successful. We shall continue until our brothers and sisters that left us comes back to Achina they are part of.”

Yes! Some other representatives from Achina Development Association USA like Sir, Benjamin Alison Onyekaba, Mr John Dike, Franca Onwumelu etc., contributed their opinion, including non ADA-USA members: Lolo Florence Nweke Nee Ezeanuna, Mr. Joseph Ezeanuna, Nze Chinedu Ezenwafor Aguiyi Achina, Arc. Kingsley Ibekwe, President Ofuobi Agegrade Achina, Nze Osita Dim (Eze Omenyiri), Chairman Ebele Youth Council etc. Made an inroads into the unity program organized by ADA-USA.
