The Executive Governor of Anambra State His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo Nwangbafọ was present with his family and entourage.

Cultural groups and dignitaries appreciated the occasion

His Eminence, Cardinal Peter Ebere Okpalaeke (Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese) headed the Post Inauguration Pontifical Mass at St. Patrick Cathedral Igbo-ukwu with other Rev Fathers.

Two members of Anambra State house of Assembly representing Aguata 1 and 2, Hon Emmanuel Anayo Okpalaeke and Hon Anthony Ifedilichukwu Muobuike KSC, Achina and Umuona respectively, were present.

Other Dignitaries

Our Aguata LGA creative Transition Committee Chairman Dr Chibueze Ofobuike graced the occasion.

Nze Henry C. Dim, Chairman, Anambra State Association of Town Union (ASATU), & President General Akpo Town Union wasn’t missing at the Thanksgiving.

Arc. Sir Christian Ike the President General Igbo-ukwu Development Union, & Vice President ASATU Aguata was part of the host.

Ugwumba Aguata, Chief Titus Anigbogu was the Chairman of the occasion, while HRH Igwe BOB Orji the Chairman of Aguata Council of Traditional Rulers anchored.

Igwe Alexander Ejikemeuwa Azike Idu III of Igbo-ukwu graced the occasion with his council members.

Hon Dom Okafor Thanksgiving : Planning Committee

The Engr Dominic Okafor Thanksgiving Planning Committee was chaired by Barr Toochukwu Ejeziem (Ọchị-Na-Nwata).

Hon Chijioke Okoli was the vice Chairman. Hon Okoli Emmanuel O, the Deputy TC Chairman Aguata LGA, was the Secretary.

Publicity was headed by Hon Dame Chinyere Joyce Mbakwe. Chief Ezeohamadike Umenuka was head of special duties.

Others who may not be mentioned were part of the committee members that made the occasion successful.

Nze Ezeulukanachukwu Okoye was head of Venue/Logistics.

President Generals of different towns in the 14 towns of Aguata LGA was present; including Nze Henry Ezeunara of Achina in Aguata LGA.

Youths, and of course All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) party members, elders forum Aguata, and, women groups, dance groups and other bodies were honored.

However, the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, the Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, PhD identified with the good people of Aguata Federal Constituency, and Anambra State in general through his Special Assistant Hon Okwudili Ezenwankwo.
