Chief KSB Kanya of Umumeohana kindred in Umuchu was begotten by Njanshi the daughter of Ọkwaraọnọnaobu Ogbọgu at: (Obi Ezenweke) in Achina.
Brief on Chief KSB Kanya
Born 1947 in the family of Late Nze Michael Ndikanya Iloka and Lolo Njanshi (Nee: Ezenweke of Achina).
Chief KSB was the last child but the second son of the five children in the family.
He was a good football player. After his primary education, he joined his uncle Clifford Ogbogu of Achina at Jos.
Later, he joined the Nigeria Army,shortly, when Nigeria Civil War started, he fought bravely in many sectors: IK Sector, at famous early Nsuka sector; Ai sector, PA sector etc.
After the war in 1970, he resigned as a soldier due to several bullets injuries that affected his health, he started Car business, and got married to Queen Victoria Anagbogu; and they were blessed with: Tochukwu Kanya, Nochy, Millian Chinonso, Jide Kanya, Obum, Eche.
Chief KSB Kanya was a good friend of Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu, George Okoli, Chief Laz Ekwueme, and Alex Ekwueme the former Vice President of Nigeria.
The one time Military Governor of Anambra State Group Capt. Emeka Omeruo, the then emissary of the Military Governor of Benue State Col. Ishaya Bakurt, Chief Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo the former civilian Governor of Anambra State etc.
