Christ Church Achina 2025 Award/Launching Now on BrainPower

The Amaiyi Archdeaconry, Christ Anglican Church Achina has celebrated her Heroes and Heroines on this day the 23rd of April 2025 during an “Award/Launching of 250 Million Sustainable Development Fund For The Church.“

Christ Church Achina Anglican Communion is in Aguata Diocese. This Church was founded by Mr Allison Chukwunenye Ekemezie Onyekaba of Ebele village, Achina; according to the Christ Church history.

However, it was a fallout of a combined Akpọ and Achina C.M.S Church known as St. Peter’s Anglican Church Akpo and Achina.

On this event, a Christ Church committee led by Engr. Alphonso Ofoma (Ifemelunma) has successfully compiled the names of those that brought this great Church to light; both dead and living; and awarded them accordingly. It was a great occasion attended by dignitaries far and near.

HRH Igwe Godwin Nnaemeka Obiora (Eze Idegwu III), the Royal Father of the day was ably present, Prince Dr Chibueze Ofobuike, the Mayor Aguata LGA was live on the occasion, chaired by Barr. Chito Ezeani, son of the first Achina indigenous Priest, Late Rev. Levi O. Ezeani.

Chief J C Nwakpadolu (Orpet), Chief Modestus Umenzekwe (Enyimba Achina), Barr. Onyekwere, Hon Anayo Okpalaeke, member representing Aguata I Constituency and many others were among the dignitaries that attended.

Ven. OKC Emeribe, Archdeacon/Vicar Christ Church Achina led the Church service with the host of other powerful men of God like: Ven. Ifeanyi Ogbueri who represented the Rt. Revd. Samuel Ezeofor (Bishop of Aguata Diocese), Ven. Nelson, Revd. Cannon Ikenna Udoye (Parish Priest of New Jerusalem Parish Otolo Nnewi), Ven. Emeonu, Rev. & Mrs. Emmanuel Ochuba, Priest Christ Church Parish Achina, Pastor & Mrs. Ikem Okpala, Church Teacher etc.
