The family, friends, in-laws, and well wishers of Ichie Sir Aaron Chukwuemeka Dike (Akunne) a renowned iconic teacher of teachers, founder, and father to many grand and great grandchildren is being celebrated.
On the 29th of December 2024, the Sir Aaron Chukwuemeka Dike family organized a special mass service at St. Charles Catholic Church Achina to mark his 100 years on earth.
This Centenarian Ichie Aaron Chukwuemeka Dike was among those of his age celebrated as centenarians by Achina Town during the 2024 Idegwu Day Festival held at Amaiyi field.

Ichie Akunne is a great father and was a teacher. His children are among the movers of the society. His first son Chief Mark Anthony Dike has a great reputation in government and got to the position of commissioner.
Let’s meet Chief Mark Anthony Dike son of Ichie Aaron Chukwuemeka Dike:
Chief Mark Anthony Dike was: “the Honorable Commissioner of Tax Appeal Tribunal (TAT) Lagos Zone. He retired as Director of Tax policy in 2014, before he was appointed a Commissioner of Tax Appeal Tribunal for 3 years in the first instance and was renewed in July 2021 for another term” according to Tax Appeal Tribunal Blog published 6th April 2024.

Son of Ichie Aaron Chukwuemeka Dike, Chief Mark Anthony Dike was conferred the Chieftaincy title “Igwebuike” by HRH Igwe Godwin Nnaemeka Obiora on the 31st December 2024, during the occasion of the 4th Ofala Festival Eze Idegwu III.
One would wonder while Chief Mark Anthony Dike is called “Ebube Dike.” Don’t be surprised. Chief Mark Anthony Dike was conferred with the Chieftaincy title of “Ebube Dike” of Nike on 14th March 2014 by HRH Igwe Julius Nnaji, Odezuluigbo IV of Nike, Enugu State during his official visit to Enugu as President and Chairman of Council of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigerian.

Chris Nayo Dike (NayoBaba), the CEO, Taste & See Kitchen Montreal, Quebec, Canada; studied at Mercy Seminary Bende Abịa State, went to INTI College Kuching Sarawak; is also one of the fruit of Pa Aaron Chukwuemeka Dike the Centenarian with special grace.
One of her daughter Rev. Sister Cecilia Dike is equally doing great; with others that may not be mentioned.
May God continue to keep Ichie Aaron Chukwuemeka Dike alive in good health to enjoy more years coming. Achina community in Aguata LGA, Anambra State is indeed blessed with Ichie Akunne whose efforts saw to the upgrade of the St. Peter’s Secondary School Achina.
