Deborah Mbakwe Life Celebration & Greenaid Empowerment Foundation Outreach held at Elder James Mbakwe ‘s Compound in Ebei village, Isi-Achina.
Four Anglican Bishops including the Bishop of Aguata Diocese and host of Anglican Priests attended the Church service held in honor of Late Ezinne Deborah Mbakwe by the St Barnabas Anglican Church Isi-Achina.

However, the celebration of the good life of Ezinne Deborah Mbakwe commenced with the Worship Praise & Tribute Night organized to honor Mama love for music; which featured a lot of gospel Artists that included:

Brief Biography of Late L/R Mrs Deborah Mbakwe (Nee Nwabasili)
Ezinne Deborah Afuluenuanya Mbakwe (Nee Nwabasili) was born on the 12th of October 1947 to late Mr. Edward Nwabasili from Umulekwe village, Isi-Achina, Aguata LGA –
And Late Mrs. Seraphine Nwabasili (Nee Ezenwa) of Umuagbaruo, Umuezeiyi village, Achina, Aguata LGA, Anambra State. And She was second Child out of three children.
The Beautiful Deborah attended St. Peters Akpo/Achina and stopped at Standard Six, and later got married to Elder James Nnadozie Mbakwe of Ebei village in Isi-Achina. They were blessed with Nine Children (3 Females and 6 Males) with many grandchildren.
Mama was very loving, caring, supportive and dedicated to her husband.
They were very close and we’re each other’s confidant that we the children wondered if they ever quarrelled.

Business, Passion & Achievements
In business , Mama excelled in confectionaries like cake, fish roll, buns etc. And later, Kitchen utensils with the help of her children.
Yes! She was hardworking. She engaged also in the business of selling Yam, Firewood and Farming.
Ezinne Deborah Mbakwe was a lover of Music especially Christian songs and also she loved dancing. No wonder she joined Choir at an early age up to her aged years.
Dee-Dee as Mama was fondly called, she tutored under Rev’d Uchendu after joining the Choir group of St Peters Anglican Church Akpo/Achina, and got to the position of Choir Mistress.
Not surprising how Mama would judge music, music notes, tunes and ensured all aspects aligned before teaching it to the Choristers.
She was a member of Christ Anglican Church Choir and when St. Barnabas Anglican Church was planted, she coordinated the music ministry in the new church as well as in the parent church.

Legacy
Ezinne Deborah Mbakwe made sure that her daughters joined the Choir at an early age and also trained her children in the way of God.
As the head of the Choir, in her time, her group lifted a lot of cup during Choir Competition both in hymns, Psalms, English anthem Igbo anthem in Christ Anglican Church, Achina –
From the time of Rt. Rev’d Onyemelukwe in Niger Diocese to Akwa Diocese during Rt. Rev’d Anikwenwa to Uga Archdeaconry.
Also, when St Barnabas Anglican Church was created, she was the Choir Mistress and help the Choir lift a lot of cups during competition in Amaiyi Archdeaconry.

Ezinne Deborah was a compassionate woman who loves to help the poor, the needy, widows, and the aged who has no help –
This made her to encourage her daughter HE (AMB) Dr Blessing Chibunna Gozi-Anyaokei who is the President of GreenAid Empowerment Foundation to always come home and help the people that are in need and also empower them.
She gives food to anybody that enters her house. Mama has never quarrelled or raise her voice on anybody.
Ezinne Deborah Mbakwe was such a very quiet and gentle woman. Mama died a dedicated Christian as she died after serving God on Mothering Sunday.
Then, on Tuesday, she slept in the Lord.
Her role and devotion are wonderful acts of faith, love and service to God and humanity.
Mama has left legacy built on honesty, duty and hardwork.
