Aguata Teachers Day Celebration 2025 by Nigeria Union of Teachers Aguata Branch held on the 17th of October 2025 was successfully dusted.
Solution Stadium Ekwulobia was filled to it brim with hardworking Teachers across different government schools in Aguata LGA; cum invited guests, government officials, dignitaries, Aguata Traditional rulers, students, well wishers of education beyond Aguata LGA attended this vital occasion, celebrating the moulders of our great society: Teachers!
Hon Dom Okafor Representing Aguata Federal constituency, Hon Anayo Okpalaeke representing Aguata 1 constituency, Hon Tony Muobuike representing Aguata 2 in Anambra State House of Assembly, Active Mayor Aguata Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, Clergy men etc were present.
The Host, Nigeria Union of Teachers Aguata Branch led by the Chairman, Comrade Vivian Orakwe of Achina, invested energy into this event. There were march-pass, cultural dance by pupils, awards to deserving personalities, oldest male and female teachers, and friends of the union were celebrated in colourful style.
Chairman of the occasion, a philanthropist, Chief Engr. Barth Nwibe (Ugo Igbo-ukwu), gave the Aguata Teachers 3 Million with other consolation money to the best performing students of the year, chosen from different schools in Aguata LGA.
Hon Dom Okafor promised a “Bus” to aid Aguata Teachers group movement while Aguata LGA Mayor Dr Chibueze Ofobuike promised strong working relationship that will foster transformation in the system, and welfare of Aguata Teachers, experience, and improved living conditions.
